Who's Ever Going To Read This Anyway

I woke up early to get my first day of shooting done with @brizbane. He’s making a short film that I’m the star of. I’m kidding. I’m a supporting character but it’s nice to dream. But shooting was really fun. Well, you know as fun as shooting can be. There is the hurry up and wait, and the let’s do it again. And, don’t forget, the wait for the car/plane/skateboarder to get far enough away from us that the boom mic doesn’t pick up extra noise.
The really fun part was trying to get the shot of the car skidding to a stop. When you don’t have the luxury of a permit, to close down a road, you have to improvise. We decided to use an emergency turn out to film it, and of course that got the cops involved. Even with the extra obstacles and running over time, we got most of the shots we needed for those scenes. I’m looking forward to the future days of shooting as well as the finished product.
